This folder contains gridded monthly area burned (hectares) files by ecoregion. 

"DerivedIDs" files contain CRU 1/2 degree grid cell IDs while "DerivedAreaBurned" files contain the associated area burned in hectares.

The files are split into 30Percent/70Percent because 70% of area burned was randomly distributed to only 10% of the grid cells 
while maintaining the historic burn fractions across ecosystems from Spracklen et al. (2009), while the remaining 30% of area burned 
was distributed evenly to the remaining 90% of grid cells, also maintaining historic burn fractions. The combination of the grid cells
in the 30Percent/70Percent files is the total universe of affected grid cells.
